SYnC - Supporting Youth in Careers

This youth employment initiative introduces Island youth to relevant work experience in the areas of small businesses, entrepreneurship, and career awareness, with an overall focus on information and communication technologies.

Jobs for Youth

The Jobs for Youth Program is designed to create jobs for Island students by assisting local organizations, businesses, and government departments to carry out projects which will benefit Island communities.

For: Returning students age 16-29, completed minimum of Grade 10

Career Prep Program

The Career Prep Program is an employment program developed to help full-time post secondary students develop new skills and gain work experience through on the job training during their last year of study.

For: Post-secondary students entering their last year of study

Connection 2 Employment Program

This program is designed to assist youth with enhancing life and employability skills to make a successful transition into the labour force.

For: Un-/underemployed youth age 15-30
